To you, my friend...
January will always be a bittersweet month for me. It welcomes a new year, a new beginning... but it also marks another year that has gone by without you.

First Post
I've tried to blog multiple times, but I generally get side-tracked with other things... like getting married, adopting another dog, working, and trying to complete school. This is going to be my ump-teenth blogging attempt.

My main goal for this site is to review and recommend different products, websites, music, movies/tv shows... pretty much whatever comes to mind that I feel should be mentioned. I may even throw in a couple of personal things here and there. Please, bear with me as I try my hand at this and get my "style" - if you will... I will try to update as often as I can!
A little intro to my new years life: NYE was pretty low key. I just wasn't feeling it this year, I guess that shows my signs of old (or at least older) age. My hubby and I just spent the night with his sister and her boyfriend - as well as our two dogs. We played some games and drank some beers. My sister in law got a Wii for my little niece for Christmas, and we played her "Just Dance - For Kids". I couldn't believe the workout involved in this! I didn't think I would break out in such a sweat from a kids video game. It was lots of fun, and I can picture myself purchasing a gaming console to play such games in the future!
My new years resolutions:
- Quit smoking (yes, this was my resolution last year, and I did a really great job for a long time, but fell back into somewhat of a rut. However, I only smoke when I drink... so it shouldn't be too hard...???)
- Don't get involved in work drama
- Start saving some money
- Workout - not to get skinny, but to get healthy!
- Become more creative. I feel that I have a good creative bone, but I never really exposed myself enough to creativity. My family is definitely not creative, and I think I could have grown much more if my creative gene could have been tapped into more often.
One quick note: I'm so happy to announce my little Addison's anniversary tomorrow! We adopted her 2 years ago, and changed that little dogs life forever. She ha

s been such an amazing addition to our family and has brought us tons of joy.
